ADDITIONAL SAFETY RULES

• Do not touch the heat gun's nozzle during use or immediately
after you stop working with the heat gun.
• The heat gun handle must be kept clean, and no oil or grease
marks should be left on it.
• When working outside the building, do not use the heat gun
when it is raining or when the air humidity is high.
• Do not put the heat gun aside when it is turned on.
• Never direct the airflow from the heat gun to one location for too
long.
• From time to time, remove accumulated paint residue from the
heat gun's nozzle to prevent it from igniting.
• Before starting work with the heat gun always make sure that the
surface to be heated is not flammable.
• When removing oil paints containing lead, work may only be
carried out in well-ventilated rooms. The vapors of such paints
have poisonous properties. Use a respiratory mask.
• When using the heat gun, do not use as auxiliaries, turpentine,
solvents or gasoline.
• Do not touch hot parts of the heat gun immediately after
use. Burns caused by failure to follow these instructions are a major
hazard in operating a heat gun.
• Do not point the working heat gun at any person or animal (e.g.
to dry hair). The heat gun gives the air a much higher temperature
than a hair dryer.
