• Line up the holes in the air deflector with the four holes in the front cross tubes of the cargo
basket. Install four #8 self tapping screws and rubber washers as shown. Tighten screws until
the rubber washers start to compress – DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!!
could cause the deflector to crack. DO NOT PEEL OFF FOAM GASKETS ON BACK OF
DEFLECTOR.

Big Sky™ Rooftop Cargo
• Unpack cargo basket.
• Remove hardware and protective
cover off air deflector.
• Read and follow all instructions.
ASSEMBLE CARGO BASKET
• To assemble the cargo basket, place
the 3 panels of the basket on a flat
non-marring surface.
• Apply a small amount of rubber safe
lubricant on the inside of all 8
gaskets.
• Slide the gaskets on the ends of the
front and rear sections, about 1" from
the end.
• Line up the holes of the mid section
with the holes in the front and rear
sections.
• Secure the tube with the 8 washers
and self tapping screws.
• Once completed, basket should look
like Figure 1.
