    Using a split supply solution using a battery in the handgrip, and a second battery on the AFi back. This solution gives you the flexibility to remove the AFi back and continue working while the power is still on. For more information on the AFi back battery, see Chapter 4, Power Supply.

Figure 3: Inserting the Battery Move the drawer upwards and push it into the handgrip until it locks. Attaching and Removing a Lens To attach a lens: Press the lens release button and rotate the body cap counterclockwise to remove the cover on the front of the camera system.

    Setting Up Setting Up Attaching the Viewfinder Figure 5: Viewfinder Place the viewfinder horizontally on the top of the camera, and press it downwards. You will hear a "click" when the viewfinder is locked. Note: Make sure that the viewfinder is locked on both sides. To remove the viewfinder, press the buttons on each side of the camera, and pull the viewfinder off the camera body.
  • Página 80 Rotate the AFi back counterclockwise by 90°. Line up the AFi back and the camera. Insert the pins of the AFi back into the holes on the rear end of the camera. Hold the back parallel to the body, and push the back and the camera together making sure that each pin is locked at the same time.
