Setting up the tripod
1. Screw the tripod tube on to the tripod base.
2. Slide the probe holder over the tripod tube.
3. Secure the probe holder with the adjustment screw.
Preparing for measurement
> Fit the probe on the tripod.
> Connect the probe to the measuring instrument.
> Fill the water container of the wet bulb temperature probe until
the sponge is covered with water.
Performing a measurement
After the measurement
> Remove the probe connections from the measuring instrument.
> Remove the probe from the tripod.
> Dismantle the tripod.
> Allow the probe and the tripod to cool down to room
temperature.
> Place the probe and measuring instrument in the transport
case.

To perform a measurement, please read the description in
the instruction manual for your testo 400 measuring
instrument.
The probe, tripod and measuring instrument heat up to the
increased ambient temperature, depending on the location.
At temperatures > 35°C, we recommend using gloves.
