Hardware Installation

3.1 Installing the Harddisk

Note: If you purchased the CH3WNAS with a Harddisk included, you can skip this
chapter and continue to Chapter 3.2 of the manual.
1) Disconnect the power cord (if connected). Remove two screws on the rear panel to
detach the cover.
2) Connect the IDE cable and power cable to the Harddisk you are assembling in the
CH3WNAS.
Note: Make sure you set the jumper of the Harddisk to "Master" before you assemble
the Harddisk in the CH3WNAS!
