Assembling the horizontal rail: see Fig. 5 & Fig. 6.
8- Position the rail on the heads of the 2 tripods.
9- Position and fasten the cups (D) through the ends of the rail and tripod heads using the screws provided (Fig. 5).
10- Place the HEXAPOD above the entrance to the confined space, then check that the assembly is stable; the two tripods must be positioned outside
the periphery of the confined space (Fig. 6). During use, continually check that the two tripods remain outside this area; stay at least 20 cm away from
an area likely to destabilise the assembly.
The HEXAPOD must always be installed on a horizontal surface (6 feet of the same length).
The set of elements (ball pins, strap, plate, safety pins, etc.) is captive.

The position of the rail's mobile anchorage points, stops and pins must be adjusted by avoiding any risk of falling, and preferably before positioning
the HEXAPOD.
