6. IN CASE OF PROBLEMS

HAIR IS NOT PROPERLY SMOOTHED:
• Did you use the straightener in the correct direction? (steam output to the tips of the hair)
• Did you dry the hair 100% before use?
• Have you selected the correct temperature? (see table on temperature ranges)
• Does the tool emit steam? NO
• Have you correctly filled the tank?
• If the water is below the minimum level, fill the tank and close the straighteners until steam is generated.
• Have you properly inserted the tank into the base until it clicks?
• Is the tool temperature level set? Wait for the number of the chosen temperature to stop flashing.
• Check that the steam cord is not accidentally blocked, twisted or knotted.
STEAM IS NOT VISIBLE:
• In high humidity, it may be that the steam is not visible but is still effective.
THE TOOL DOES NOT HEAT UP:
• Have you checked that the appliance is not in power save mode?
ALL THE TEMPERATURE LIGHTS FLASH SIMULTANEOUSLY:
• If all temperature lights flash simultaneously, take your appliance to an Approved Service Centre.
TOP STRAIGHTENING PLATE IS NOT FIXED:
• This is normal, the device is equipped with a floating plate for better smoothing efficiency.
APPLIANCE EMITS WATER FROM THE STEAM OUTLETS:
• Take your appliance to an Approved Service Centre.
APPLIANCE IS LEAKING:
• Unplug immediately and take your appliance to an Approved Service Centre.
YOUR STEAMPOD STOPS PRODUCING STEAM FROM TIME TO TIME.
• This is normal; the device was designed to regulate the steam at a controlled rate.
THE SUCTION CUPS ON MY TANK DON'T STICK PROPERLY.
• Clean the suction cups and your work surface with a damp cloth.
