Your Stiromatic EcoPower will enable you to achieve perfect ironing and energy savings of up to 30%.
Stiromatic EcoPower with its 2 modes of operation, ECO and MAX, allows to use at any time only the amount of steam
required.
The ECO mode allows you to have perfect clothes and save up to 30% of energy consumption

remove any labels and protections from the soleplate before using the appliance for the first time.
filling the tank before use
Warning!
Make sure the appliance is unplugged from the supply mains before filling the tank with water.
Before plugging it in, completely unwind the power cord. remove the tank (Fig. 2). Fill the tank directly beneath the tap with
cool tap water (Fig. 3).
never fill the tank beyond the maX level.
The possible presence of water, condensate or moisture in the tank indicates only that the appliance has been tested. The
product functions with normal tap water.
If the tap water is particularly hard (higher than 20°F), use a mixture of 50% tap water and 50% demineralized water.
never use pure demineralized water.
Warning!
To avoid damaging the pump, never operate the appliance without any water in the tank, even for dry ironing. Do not
add any additive of chemical substances to it (such as, for example, starches, sizing agents, fragrances or anything
else); Otherwise, the warranty may be revoked.
Put the tank back in, paying attention to match the tank valve with the pin in the appliance seat (Fig. 4). Press the tank all
the way down until it is completely inserted and check that it is correctly installed.

Place the appliance on a horizontal and stable surface. Connect the appliance to the power supply, ensuring that the voltage
indicated on the identification plate corresponds to your local power supply.
Before you turn on the appliance, make sure there is sufficient water inside the tank.
When first using the appliance after filling the tank, set thermostat knob (G) past the symbol (
button (F) Fig. 7, until the iron gives out steam (approx. 1 minute) Fig. 8.
When first used, the iron may give out a little smoke: this transitory effect is perfectly normal and will disappear
very soon.
After the first use, the appliance can be switched in ECO or MAX mode using the appropriate ON/OFF switch (J).
• With the ON/OFF switch (J) and the thermostat knob (G) in ECO mode (
achieved. The indicator light (K), turns on indicating that we are ironing with a saving of energy consumption. The appli-
ance optimizes consumption and at the same time you can achieve the best ironing performance.
For ironing silk and synthetic cloths do not use the thermostat knob (g) set to the eCo mode.
• With the ON/OFF switch (J) to the MAX position, you achieve the maximum steam pressure.
After selecting the ECO or MAX mode, set the steam control knob (L) to the desired value. When the steam ready light (M)
turns on, the steam is ready for use. Turn the thermostat knob (G) to the desired temperature depending on the material of
the cloths to be ironed. The indicator light (H) of the iron will turn on and turn off when the iron has reached the temperature.
The iron is now ready for use. Before applying a jet of steam to the article to be ironed, release two or three good jets of
steam towards the floor to stabilise the steam flow.
Warning!
Do not release steam when the iron is standing on its grille rest (D).
