Make sure the supplied instruction man-
uals of the charger and the power pack
are available. Please read and under-
stand them before using the device.
Power pack charging
Risk of injuries or material damage.
Only charge the power pack using the
charger approved by the manufactur-
er. The designations of the approved
chargers are listed in the enclosed CE
Declaration of Conformity.
Attention!
The power pack is supplied partially charged. Be-
full capacity of the power pack.
Power pack charging must be carried out ac-
cording to the instructions in the supplementary
documentation.
Operating times
Observe the times stipulated in local byelaws.
Check with your local authorities to determine if
there are any operating time limitations.

Assembly
Assembling the protective cover
Press the outer edge
protective cover until it engages
Secure the outer edge with the long screws
and tighten by hand
Fitting the protective cover
Position the protective cover on the trimmer
head

Screw on the protective cover with the short
screws
. Only tighten the screws by hand.
Connecting the shaft of the trimmer unit to the
operating arm
Align the shaft and arm in such a way that the
recess and the retaining collar are opposite to one
another.
Insert the trimmer unit in the holder of the oper-
ating arm

Fully tighten the fastening sleeve
Fitting the middle handle
on the arm of the operating module

Place the middle handle
that the holes lie on top of one another in a con-
centric manner

Press the bolts
with the depression for receiving the bolt head.
Position the washer
bolt from the other side and tighten the nut by

with the marking line on the arm.
