A PPE assembly can then be installed between the chest-mounted rope clamp and the har-
ness. Correct configuration of PPE assemblies is the responsibility of the user.

a. Separate the Lower and Upper Parts
b. Where the Clamp has an upper slot (e.g. Petzl Croll), the
front loop may be passed directly through the slot and
threaded into the metal adjuster buckle*. (fig. 3)
c. Where the Clamp has an upper hole (e.g. Anthron AC-30), a
connector is required between the Front Loop and Clamp*.
d. Connection from Chest-Mounted Rope Clamp to harness
may be to the sliding T Ring, both Front D Rings
or the Rope Bridge
a. A Chest-Mounted Rope Clamp may be
suspended from the Elliptical Hole of the
Junction hardware using a non-PPE connec-
tor (e.g. accessory karabiner or Petzl
Speedy); (fig. 4) and
b. position of the Junction hardware may need
to be adjusted upward to accommodate the
addition of the connector.
