Before you switch on the device, you must regulate the speed (rotary knob (F)) to zero.
A. Plug the power adapter (A) into a power outlet.
B. Select a collet chuck adapter (G) and screw it into the collet chuck adapter support (E).
C. Select a suitable grinding head. The yellow safety collet chuck adapter (G) is a safety collet chuck adapter
with which you may plug the abrasive at the front side of the adapter. Once the abrasive body begins
to rotate, the mechanism locks automatically. With the white collet chuck adapter (G) you must open the
knurled screw by turning it, then plug the abrasive and lock the chuck by tightening the knurled screw
again. Never use force to remove or insert a grinding head!
Abrasives with 2.332 mm to 2.350 mm shank diameter fits precisely with the collet chuck adapter with
ceramic bond, without you having used excessive force. Please switch off the appliance for removing an
abrasive. Now remove the abrasives by simply pulling out straight. Now remove (at the white adapter
after loosening the knurled screw) the abrasive by simply pulling it out.
D. Speed adjustment and On-Off switch
On the rear part of the device, you will find the speed control (F), with which the grinding force can be
regulated smoothly. At the same time the speed control (F) serves as on-off switch of the device.
E. Before initial application, run the hand piece necessarily for approx. 30 minutes with approx.
2.000 rpm (approx. ½ revolutions of the controller). This is necessary to bed in the carbon brushes of
the motor.

In cases of malfunctioning:
• Check that the power supply is correct.

• Check if the collect chuck adapter is screwed properly in the collect chuck adapter support.
• If the problems have still not been solved after following these steps, please consult your service center
immediately.
