This table shows the maximum numbers of conductors for a given cross
section and current load.
Every incoming conductor and every internal connection conductor
counts as a conductor. Bridges and earth conductors are not counted as
conductors.

„Conductor" means every conductor entering the enclosure and every
internal connecting conductor. Any cross connections or earth terminals
are not counted. All details given are in respect of the permitted heating
up to 40 K (Kelvin).
All wires used within the enclosure must be suitable for temperatures
between 70°C and 80°C. For larger cables, the number of conductors
must be advised by the manufacturer (with power dissipation test report).
When using the table above, de-rating factors or nominal rated currents in
accordance with IEC 60439 should be used.
Different types of terminals can be used together by utilising a percentage
of the tabulated values, as shown below. Ensure that the number of
conductors does not exceed the maximum load limit for the enclosure.
