(RCD)
5
The pump operates but the flow
is low or null
6
Starts per hour exceed the
permitted number
7
Noisy operation and excessive
vibrations
8
The pump works correctly but
absorbed current is too high

Tripped circuit breaker
Tripped thermal protector
Damaged or wrongly connected capa-
citor (single phase motor)
Tripped level control
Broken, burned or disconnected wiring
The pump is immersed in a liquid
which is too hot
Clogged hydraulic
Blocked rotor
Uncorrect voltage
Fault in bearings
Starts per hour exceed the permitted
number
Fault in cooling system (DRY version
only)
High drop voltage
Low voltage supply
Clogged hydraulic
Blocked rotor
Short circuit in the motor winding
Wrong electrical connection
Low setting of the thermal relay
Low motor winding insulation
Fault in cable
Clogged hydraulic
Clogged outlet pipe
Blocked non-return valve
Outlet valve blocked or closed
Wrong direction of rotation
Leakage in the pipeline
Wrong pump selection
Wrong setting of the level control
Level control malfunction
Turbolence near the level sensors
Undersized tank
Fault in bearings
Damaged impeller
Blocked impeller
Wrong direction of rotation of the
impeller
Wrong duty point
Wrong voltage supply
Clogged hydraulic
Fault in bearings
Wrong direction of rotation of the
impeller
Water ingress in the motor due to da-
maged cables, o-rings or cable glands.
Water ingress in the mechanical seal
chamber due to wearing or breaking
down of mechanical seals or o-rings
Solution
Check power supply line.
Check the cable connections and make sure that it's not damaged.
Check fuses type and rating and replace them with correct ones.
Refer to Point 3.
Refer to Point 2.
