0 9 TUBELESS VA LVE
IN STAL LATIO N
1. Remove the valve cap, nut, and O-ring from the tube-
less valve assembly.
2. Through the hole created in the tubeless rim strip, in-
sert the valve so that the rubber base is fully seated in
the depression in the center of the rim. Failure to seat
the valve base properly could cause air leaks.
TECHNICAL MANUAL
3. From the outside of the wheel, position the O-ring on
the valve until it touches the rim. Place the nut on the
valve and screw it in as tightly as possible by hand.
Do not use a tool, such as pliers, to install the
nut on the valve. Doing so could deform the
O-ring and cause air leaks, as well as damage
the rim.

1 0 TUBELESS TIRE
I N STA L LAT I ON
Do not use metal tools to install or remove
tubeless tires. Doing so could cause damage
to the bead of the tire or the rim wall, af-
fecting the seal of the system and causing
air leaks.
1. Insert the bead of one full side of the tire into the
rim. Check that there is no dirt on the rim, tire, or
valve. Check that the rolling direction of the tire is
correct.
2. Insert the bead on the other side of the tire into the
rim all the way around. Start from the side opposite
the valve; from there, work your way toward the valve
on both sides of the rim. As you get closer to the valve,
make it easier to complete the install, create slack in
the tire by grabbing the part of the tire with both sides
on the rim and pushing the tire towards the valve.

the tire onto the rim. The tire must be properly seated
around the entire rim. Notice the line parallel to the
tire's sidewall. This line should be evenly visible above
the rim around the whole tire.
You can use water with a small amount of soap to lu-
bricate the bead of the tire if you are having trouble
beading it.
If you cannot bead the tire with a manual pump, it may
be necessary to unscrew the valve core and use pres-
surized air to bead the tire. Once the tire is properly
installed, reinstall the valve core.
Never exceed the tire manufacturer's recom-
mended maximum pressure when attempt-
ing to bead a tubeless tire.
