Expanding the workspace

Desktop extensions

The workspace can be extended by installing a desktop extension on one or both sides. A desktop extension
may only be fitted if the desk is expanded to a four-person workstation or an element is also mounted on the
opposite side (see below).
If you want to assemble yourself, please follow the respective installation instructions.
Some extension variants are not possible for safety reasons or technical reasons. The impermissible
configurations are explained in the following sections.

Semi-circular desktop extension

The semi-circular desktop extension will be mounted on a dual workstation in seating height.
Requirement: A desktop or an element (e.g. monitor bracket, storage compartment) must be installed on the
opposite side.
This requires the following components:
• Desktop extension
• Desktop support: 2 mounting brackets, 1 mounting rail, fixing material

1 Semi-circular desktop extension
A semi-circular desktop extension cannot be mounted in the following configurations:
Freestanding dual workstation, seating height, only one desktop extension (see Figure 11, left).

Reason: Instability!
• Freestanding dual workstation, standing height (see Figure 11, right).
Reason: The desktop extension protrudes on each side approx. 5 cm beyond the depth of the two
desktops. Risk of impact!
