TROUBLESHOOTING

Nothing happens when I press the VACUUM button:
• Make sure the plug is properly inserted into the outlet.
• Make sure that the power cord is not damaged.
• Make sure the power outlet is not defective.
• Make sure that the bag is correctly positioned in the vacuum chamber.
• Make sure that the flap is properly engaged.
• Wait 25 minutes as the unit needs to cool down.
The air will not be sucked out of the bag:
• Make sure that there are no folds, creases, gaps or holes in the bag.
• Make sure that the seals on the unit are intact.
• Liquids sometimes prevent bags from sealing. Wipe out the inside of the top
of the bag and try again.
• Make sure the bag is properly seated in the vacuum chamber.
The bag will melt:
• The sealing strip may have overheated. Allow the unit to cool down for at least
20 seconds between processes. If the bags continue to melt, wait 25 minutes
as the unit has cooled completely.
Air has re-entered the bag:
• Check the bag. Wrinkles or creases may have prevented the bag from sealing
properly.
• Make sure that no food has punctured the bag.
• Make sure no liquids have entered the sealing area.
• Make sure that the seals on the unit are intact.
• Liquids sometimes prevent bags from sealing. Wipe out the inside of the top
of the bag and try again.
