7.3 Select and start the program
Select a program by the controler controls.
Start a program by pressing "START / STOP"
7.4 Stop
The autoclave performs all the functions automatically. At the end of the cycle,
it gives a message of «PROGRAM FINISHED».
If for any reason you must stop the program, press "START / STOP".
ATTENTION: To avoid breakage of the jars, depending on the phase
in which the program is interrupted, the autoclave will perform a
series of maneuvers, automatically, before stopping the cycle.

7.4.1 Opening and closing the loading and unloading door

There are security devices that block the opening of the door if there are no
security conditions to do so.
- The opening and closing of the door must be carried out by previously
informed personnel.
- Before opening the door, the operator will make sure that the autoclave cycle
has finished and that there is no pressure in the chamber.
7.4.2 Precautions during the screen use
The indications of the LCD display of the equipment will be periodically moni-
tored. The pressure must never exceed the maximum permissible pressure
(PS = 2,5 bar).
7.5 Unblocking the door
In case of open lid blocked by a safety system failure make as follows:
1 Stop the machine.
2 Disconnect the machine from the mains.
3 Place an outlet and a tube in the aeration valve (11).
4 Carefully open the valve to avoid steam leackages. Be careful to
avoid possible burns.
5 Wait for the total steam emptying.
6 Extract the upper cover where display is located in order to put it
aside (it is not necessary to disconnect any wire). It does not use
screws, pull tightly.
7 Remove the plastic cap and pull slightly until the lever is released.
7.6 Operation menus
All functions of the «STERIL-FOOD» autoclave are selected via the touch screen.
A soft touch in the center of each button selects the desired operation.
It is recommended to use the supplied pointer.
