1. The roof top hard cargo carrier should be parallel to the direction of travel. To do this, initially set crossrails at a width of 31.5"
(80 cm), and set hard cargo carrier onto crossrails as shown in Figure 1.
Option A: Production Crossrails Section
If vehicle has production Crossrails Go to step 2A.
2A. The attachment mechanism can be installed while the box
is on vehicle or off. The attachment mechanism is meant to
be left on the box when not in use to avoid losing parts and
for ease of reinstalling the box.
3A. Determine the mounting holes to be used for your vehicle's
rack configuration. The quick connect system has been
designed to be used with removable rack systems installed
at the factory. Place the bolts as close to the rack system's
crossrails as possible. Insert a bolt (1) from underneath the
load bars, through the quick on/off bracket (2), through the
support plate (6) and into the pre-drilled hole in the base of
the box. Fit the internal ski tie down fitting over the threads
of the bolt where it protrudes through the base of the box.
Insert the barrel nut (4) into the knob (5). Feed the second
bolt through the box hole and bracket (3). Loosely tighten
with the barrel nut and knob, as shown in Figure 2A. Once
all four attachments have been installed, carefully place the
box onto the crossrails.
Note: Be aware of the hardware hanging from the
bottom of the box. Lift box carefully to avoid damaging
the finish of the vehicle.
Arrange the support plate to fit between the box and the
crossrail. Swing the slotted end of the quick on/off bracket
around the bolt. Tighten knobs as shown in Figure 3A.
Fasten the box this way at all four mounting points.

Option B: T-Slot Crossrails Section
If vehicle has t-slot Crossrails Go to step 2B
2B. Remove access cover on crossrails of roof rack on one side
of vehicle.
3B.Insert a T-bolt from underneath the hard cargo carrier,
through a whole at the bottom of the carrier, then through
the plates center hole, then through the internal ski tie
down, and finally through the locking washer. Loosely attach
3 wing knob to end of T-bolt. Slide assembly into T-slot of
roof rack crossrail, as shown in Figure 2B. Once all four (4)
attachments have been installed, align cargo box to vehicle.
Tighten roof rack crossrails and attachments for cargo box.
