OPERATION
Bevel tilt preset stop adjustment (Fig.29)
1. Lock the track arm holder (N2) in the 0° position,
2. Loosen the left/right screw(N1)
3. Adjust the track arm holder until the saw blade is at
exactly 90°/45° against the rotating table.
4. Tighten the left/right screw(N1)
5. Adjust the indicator's N3 position, after loosening the
screw N4 until the value indicated coincides with the
current preset stop position of the track arm holder.
Adjusting the cutting depth stop (Fig.30)
The cutting depth stop limits the depth to which the saw
blade plunges into the kerf plate opening.
NOTE:
The cutting depth stop requires adjustment if the saw
blade makes contact with the table.
1. Loosen the lock nut (O1) of the cutting depth stop.
2. Adjust the cutting depth stop so that the saw blade
will plunge up to the fence into the kerf plate opening.
3. Tighten the lock nut of the cutting depth stop.
4. Lower sawhead until stopped by the cutting depth
stop and check to see that the saw blade turns freely
in this position.
Cleaning
Using a brush and dust pen or vacuum cleaner, remove
all chips and saw dust from,
- the setting devices;

Remove saw dust and chips from the machine with a
brush and dust pen or vacuum cleaner.
Check the power cable and plug for damage and if
damaged, have the damaged parts replaced by a
qualified electrician.
Check all moving parts and make sure that they can
move freely and smoothly across their entire ranges.
Check the riving knife to see that the distance betwen
the riving knife – saw blade is between 3mm and
8mm.
Check all nuts, bolts and screws for proper fit and
tightness and tighten where necessary.
Check lateral play of sawhead, adjust by tightening
nut (P1) if necessary.
Check if the sawhead assembly returns to its starting
position after being released; if necessary, replace
the springs.
Check function of retractable blade guard.
For long work pieces use suitable supports on both
sides of the machine.
Use auxiliary fence when sawing small cut-offs (this
may be a suitable board, fastened with four screws to
the fence).
When cutting warped or bent work pieces, make sure
that you place the work piece so that the convex side
(i.e. the outer side of the bow) is against the fence.
Do not cut any work piece while it is standing on
edge. Always place it flat on the rotating table.
Keep the supporting surfaces clean – in particular,
remove resin residue with a suitable cleaning and
maintenance spray.
