AUTOMATIC ELECTRONIC "LITHIUM" BATHROOM SCALES

Your new Terraillon bathroom scales have been
designed to accurately display your weight. When
used in normal conditions they should give you
many years' satisfaction.

POWER SUPPLY

According to the model, your appliance has
been provided with 1 or 2 CR2032 lithium batte-
ries, which are either:
1. Protected in a plastic bag, taped next to the bat-
tery compartment underneath the appliance. In
this case, open the battery compartment and
position the two batteries into the casing inten-
ded for this purpose: the widest part of the batte-
ry should be on top. The "+" sign should remain
visible once the batteries have been installed.
2. Or already inserted into the battery compart-
ment. In this case, a plastic tongue sticking out
of the battery compartment prevents contact
with the polarities.
You'll need to pull out this plastic tongue for your
appliance to become operational.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
When using for the very first time
1. Install the batteries.
2. Initialise the scales by pressing lightly on the
platform. The readout will display
oooo
then disappear.
3. Wait 10 seconds before stepping onto the
scales.
All subsequent uses
Step onto the scales and remain as still as possible.
When your weight has stabilized, it will display as
follows:

Remark:
Once the display has disappeared, wait 10 seconds before
stepping back onto the scales. (Renew this operation bet-
ween each weight measurement)

AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF

Your bathroom scales automatically turn them-
selves off approximately four seconds after you
step off them. The readout will display

MEMORY FUNCTION
(ONLY FOR MODELS EQUIPPED WITH THIS
FUNCTION)
These models have numbered keys. Each key
should be reserved for a different member of the
family and will monitor that person's difference in
weight between two weight measurements.
Memorizing your weight
When you weigh yourself using one of the keys, your
weight will be automatically memorized.
Display of difference in weight
The readout will display your weight gain or loss
after you have weighed yourself.
1. Lightly press your personal memory key to start up
the appliance and put it into memory mode. A verti-
cal dash or the figure relating to your own personal
key will appear in the area corresponding to the
position of your personal key to enable you to check
that you have pressed the right key.
2. When "0.0" appears on the display, step onto
the scales and do not move until the readout sta-
bilizes.
3. Your weight will then be displayed.
4. Step off the scales.
