If you leave your product exposed to the hot sun check the pressure and deflate it slightly, otherwise the
material might be overstretched. The ambient temperature affects the tube's internal pressure: a variation of
1°C/ 1,8°F causes a variation of the pressure in the tube of +/- 4 mbar (0,06 PSI).
REMOVABLE FIN
It is recommended to use the fin in deep water (lake, sea...) where it will allow you to move forwards in a straight line. Do
not use it in shallow water or white water: the fin would deteriorate the bottom of the kayak in shallow water and reduce
the manoeuvrability in white water. The front and rear shape of this kayak is designed to allow a good performance
without fin.
INFLATABLE / ADJUSTABLE BUCKET SEAT(S)
Your kayak is supplied with one (or several) bucket seat(s), featuring a comfortable high backrest. The seat is held in
place by the hook-and-loop strips on the underside and by webbing straps on the sides of the backrest. Place the seat(s)
into the kayak, matching the position of the hook-and-loop strips on the floor. Attach the webbing straps from the sides of
the backrest to the buckles located inside the kayak, on the side walls/chambers. Tighten the straps as needed for the
proper back support.
DRAIN PLUG
Your kayak has been designed with a drain system located on the underside of the kayak one on each side. It consists of
one (or several) drain port(s) with a plug, for those of you who would like to use the kayak in calm waters and do not wish
to get their bottoms wet. To close the drain port(s) with the provided plug(s), it may take a certain amount of force and
effort to insert (force) the plug(s) into the hole(s); this tight fit will assure that the plug(s) will stay in place until you remove
it (them) before a thrilling white water adventure or if you decide to do some kayak surfing.
The drain system offers a tremendous advantage especially in white water, the self bailing system is designed to drain the
water quickly from the kayak. A drain system improves the performance and adds safety when running white water as a
kayak full of water is heavy and difficult to manoeuver.
Important Note:
Before you begin inflating your kayak, you may want to either plug the drain port(s) for a dryer ride or leave it (them) open
to benefit from the drain feature. The drain port is (are) more accessible with the kayak deflated.

1) Remove oars/paddles and other accessories.
2) To deflate:
a) Boston valve(s): unscrew the valve insert.
b) Double lock™ valve & Mini double lock valve™: open external stopper and pull to extend out allowing air to
escape.
c) Twist valve: turn the valve counter clockwise allowing air to escape.
3) Clean and check the item as well as all the accessories after each use. Rinse it thoroughly making sure to remove
any residues of salt if used in salt water. Use a mild soapy solution, do not use detergents or any type of silicone-
