Remove bottom appearance panel: Using phillips and flat head screwdriver, remove (7) screws and (2) rivets from bottom appearance panel. Return the panel to vehicle owner.

Remove bottom bracket attachment: Using 10 mm socket, remove (1) screw from the bottom bracket attachment, per side. Press the bracket inwardly to release the piece from the
plastic tab attached to frame rails. Return the bracket to vehicle owner.
3.
Enlarge the access hole: Using die grinder, enlarge the access hole to 1'' diameter hole each side, see Figure 1.
Install hitch: Feed the carriage bolt ① and spacer ② through the access hole using the pull wires ⑤. Leave pull wires attached. Raise the hitch and feed pull wire previously

installed through hitch bracket slot. Remove pull wires and loosely install conical washer ③ and hex nut ④ to hitch .
5.
Tighten all 7/16'' fasteners with torque wrench to 50 Ft.-Lb. (68 N*M).
Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged
should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for
connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.
