WRIST IMMOBILISATION SPLINT
Properties:
• Effective immobilisation of wrist (one conformable X-ray
transparent stay).
• Aerated, foam-lined fabric ensures optimum comfort.
• Strap system ensuring even compression.
Indications:
• Mild sprains of the wrist (functional treatment).
• Tendinitis and tendon disorders of the wrist.
• Inflammatory phases of rheumatic diseases.
Contraindication:
Do not apply the product in direct contact with broken skin.
Side effects:
No side effects are as yet known for correct use.
Fitting instructions:
- Open the straps.
- Slip the hand into the splint.
- Fasten the straps, starting with the middle one.
- To avoid constriction be careful not to close the straps too
tightly.
Precautions:
Follow the advice of the professional who prescribed or
supplied the product. In case of discomfort, loosen the straps
and consult the professional who supplied the product.
Store at room temperature, preferably in its original packaging.
For hygiene and performance reasons, do not re-use the
product for another patient.
Washing instructions:
- See product label.
- Remove the stay before washing.
- Do not use detergents, fabric softeners or aggressive products
(products containing chlorine).
- Squeeze out excess water.
- Dry away from heat sources.
