USE
Before first use, insert the plug into a power outlet, pour water into the container (9) and
switch on without adding coffee. This will rinse the appliance. Then thoroughly wash the
jug (4) walls, filter (7) and container (8).
OPERATION
•
Place the coffee maker on a flat, stable surface.
•
Lift the lid (1) and pour cold water into the container (9). The amount of water depends
on the number of coffee cups to be prepared.
•
Insert the filter (7) into the container (8).
•
Add ground coffee to the filter (7). Close the lid (1).
•
Place the jug (4) on the heating plate (5) and switch the appliance on with the button (6).
•
After several seconds after switching on, coffee will begin to drip. The indicator light (6)
shows that the appliance is switched on and is working.
•
The hot plate (5) guarantees constant coffee temperature for about 40 minutes.
ATTENTION
Small amounts of steam may escape from the coffee maker during operation.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it from the mains and leave it to cool down.
•
Do not immerse the appliance in water.
•
Do not use abrasive cleaners – they might damage the body of the appliance.
•
Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the body of the appliance.
•
Before cleaning, the filter (7) and the filter container (8) can be removed from the
appliance.
•
The jug (4) can be washed like any glass container
•
Once a month remove the sediment from the appliance by using cleaning agents
available on the market (e.g. citric acid or tartaric acid).
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
The appliance is made of materials which can be recovered or recycled. The blanket
should be handed over to the appropriate centre of collection and recycling of electrical
and electronic equipment.
WARRANTY
- the appliance is intended for personal use at a household,
- it is not intended for professional purposes,
- in case of misuse, the warranty is rendered null and void.
