CAUTION!
Never open the housing on the machine and touch or remove any components without
having unplugged it from the mains. Any work on the machine while live can lead to a seri-
ous electric shock.
Make sure that the work area and its surroundings are always kept clean and free of flam-
■
mable materials.
The air intake and outlet of the cutting device must always be kept free! Make sure that the
■
air circulation is never impeded.
Inspect your device every 3 – 4 months (depending on how often it is used) and carefully
■
clean it with compressed air to remove any residual dust.
IMPORTANT!
Only use dry air to clean it. Do not direct the jet of air at electronic circuit boards. Regularly
clean the intake filter of the compressor to avoid losing pressure.
CAUTION!
Make sure that the cutting torch has cooled down completely before doing any work on it.

With the exception of special circumstances, we recommend changing the electrode and
■
the cutting nozzle at the same time.
Make sure that the wear parts are installed in the correct order.

Make sure that the gas distribution ring has been installed correctly.
■
Replace the protection cap and screw it tight manually.
■
Never install the protection cap without having installed the gas distribution ring and cutting
■
nozzle first.
Prompt and expert maintenance or wear parts, torch head, handle and cable are indispen-
■
sable for the safety and proper functioning of the cutting machinery.
These parts must be checked and cleaned regularly. Defective parts must immediately be
■
expertly changed and must be tested by authorised people.
Apart from that, these parts do not require any maintenance. When cleaning, only use
■
solvent-free cleaning agents.
The cutting torch and the cable assembly must not come into contact with hot parts!
■
Do not pull on the cable assembly and the earth cable!
■
Do not pull the cable assembly and the earth cable over sharp edges or rough surfaces.
■
Roll the cable assembly and earth cable together if they are too long.
■
Do not tread on the cable assembly and the earth cable.
