The idea behind the design of this cylinder is the same that allowed
Top Performances cylinders to enjoy a certain success in these years.
The target of our engineers was to fi nd the best compromise between
performance and reliability. We have realized this target in this
cylinder-piston unit thanks to a cylinder with 6 transfer ports made in
special "MINACROM" cast iron (new-design rear transfer ports
and exhaust port), a piston with tin insert, semi trapezoidal piston
ring, 1 mm thick and high performance head with truncated cone
shape.
