When using the appliance in a bathroom, unplug it

advice. • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be re-
placed by a special cord or assembly available from the

This appliance contains a battery that is non-repla-
ceable.
WARNING : For the purposes of recharging the batte-
ry, only use the detachable supply unit provided with
this appliance.

the appliance before it is scrapped. The appliance
must be disconnected from the mains when removing
the battery. The battery is to be disposed of safely. Do
not throw the battery in the fire : risk of explosion !
Do not use the device on wet/damp hair. Do not use
the device for purposes other than the use for which it
was intended. Do not use any accessories other than
those recommended by the manufacturer. Do not leave
the device switched on unattended. Some parts of the
appliance can become very hot when in use. Always
hold the appliance by the handle. Wait until the device
is completely cool before putting it away. Allow it to cool
on a flat, smooth, heat-resistant surface.
SECTION RELATING TO BATTERY REMOVAL BE-
FORE DISPOSAL
Note: we advise that you have the rechargeable bat-
tery removed by a professional. Only remove the re-
chargeable battery when you are intending to discard
the appliance. Unplug the appliance from the mains.
Make sure that the battery is fully discharged when
you remove it.
1- Check if there are screws in the front or back of the
appliance. If there are, remove them.
2- Remove the appliance's front and/or rear panel
using a screwdriver.
3- If necessary, remove the screws and/or additional
parts until you can see the printed circuit board with
the rechargeable battery.
If necessary, cut the wires to separate the printed circuit
board and the rechargeable battery from the appliance.
