Password-protected menu
The Dräger X-act 5000 Basic offers a password-protected menu. The
following options can be selected:
Calibrate flow ("CALIBRATE FLOW")
Change of SO
filter ("CHANGE SO3 FILTER")

The date on which the filter was changed may be entered. This
date is for information purposes only.
Select operating mode ("SELECT MEASURING MODE")
The operating modes can be activated or deactivated. At least one
operating mode must be activated. Default setting: all operating
modes are activated.
Changing the sample time resolution ("SAMPLE TIME
RESOLUTION")
The default setting of the sample time resolution on delivery is in
steps of 15 minutes. This configuration can be changed to
a sample time resolution in steps of 1 minute.
Select leak test interval ("MANDATORY LEAK TEST")
The duty to perform a leak test can be deactivated or can be
mandatory after a certain number of strokes. If it is mandatory, the
leak test will automatically prompt after the set number of strokes.
The default setting is: Mandatory leak test after 1000 strokes
(= 100 L)
Change password ("CHANGE PASSWORD")
Select language ("SELECT LANGUAGE")
The default display language is English.

Keys
The green "OK" key is used to
switch on the Dräger X-act 5000 Basic,
acknowledge / confirm a selection, setting, prompt of error
indication or the indication of end of measurement,
start / stop / continue a measurement / a leak test / skip a leak test,
activate the display backlight,
deactivate the sleep mode.
Dräger X-act 5000 Basic
The blue arrow keys are used to
select a menu or option, a mode of operation or a measuring mode
or a prompt,
set a number of strokes,
set the flow rate and time,
switch off the Dräger X-act 5000 Basic,
exit a menu or option,
activate the display backlight,
deactivate the sleep mode.
The arrow keys are disabled when a measurement is performed.

LEDs
CAUTION
!
Green flashing LEDs only indicate that the Dräger X-act 5000
Basic has finished a measurement. They do not mean that
the environment is free from hazardous substances.
LEDs
Description
RED, flashing An error has occurred (e.g. leak test not passed). The
LEDs flash until the "OK" key is pressed.
GREEN,
Measurement is finished. The LEDs flash until the
flashing
"OK" key is pressed.

Display
The display of the Dräger X-act 5000 Basic consists of two parts. The
upper part is a segment display (1). It indicates the number of strokes,
flow rate, measuring time, volume units, error codes, and different
icons. The lower part is a matrix display that consists of two lines (2).
Menus and options will be displayed here. The user can select which
operation is to be performed.
