Completing Installation
CAUTION
Engine damage. Verify proper type and quantity of
engine oil prior to starting engine. Failure to do so
could result in engine damage.
1.
Verify all wire routings are clear of pinch points and other
damage. Use tie wraps where necessary.
2.
Install customer connection panel cover.
3.
Return the utility power supply to the transfer switch:
• In service rated transfer switches, turn the main breaker ON.
• In non-service-rated switches, turn power feeder breaker ON.
NOTE: If removed, install the T1, N1 and N2 fuses in the
transfer switch.
4.
Install controller fascia (2013–2015 units) or intake side
panel (2016 and newer units), front panel, and 7.5A DC
fuse.
5.
Complete the installation wizard programming.
6.
Move the main line circuit breaker (generator disconnect)
to ON (closed).
7.
Place the generator controller in AUTO and close lid.
