Mastrad's cooking thermometer has been designed and made with high-
quality materials and components that can be recycled and reused. A product
that bears the symbol of a crossed out trashcan means that this product
complies with the European Directive 2002/96/EC.
Please contact your local Department of Public Works to find out how used
electric and electronic products are recycled in your area.
Please follow your local collection program's instructions and do not dispose
of your unwanted products with household waste. This will help prevent
potentially dangerous consequences for the environment and human health.
Used batteries
It is forbidden to dispose of used batteries in household trashcans.
European Directive 2006/66/EC batteries, whose rechargeable batteries
contain dangerous substances, are marked with symbols indicating that they
cannot be disposed of in a household trashcan.
The designations of the concerned heavy metals are as follows:
Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. You can return empty/rechargeable
batteries free of charge at collections points in your area or anywhere batteries/
rechargeable batteries are sold. By doing this, you fulfill your statuary duties
and help protect the environment.
Warning
Only replace batteries with the same type of, or equivalent, batteries and
refer to the indications printed inside the battery compartment regarding
polarity (+) and (-). There is a risk of explosion if the batteries are not inserted
correctly.
This product complies with the requirements of directive 1999/5/EC.
Only use this device in places where the room temperature is between 32°F
(0°C) and 104°F (40°C).
