TOOL OPERATION

Before starting work, make sure that the housing body and the connection cable with a plug are not damaged. In case of damage,
do not proceed with work.
Warning! All activities related to attaching and replacing working tools and their adjusting etc. should be carried out with the tool
disconnected from the supply voltage. For this reason, before proceeding with such activities: Pull the tool power cord plug out
of the power socket!
Dust bag assembly (II)
The sander is equipped with a bag to collect dust generated during work. The bag must be assembled at the dust extraction outlet
by inserting the bag connector into the dust extraction opening of the sander.
Instead of using a bag, the sander can be connected to an external dust extraction system, e.g. an industrial vacuum cleaner.
The connection should be made using adapters available separately and a fl exible hose so that it does not restrict the operation
freedom of the sander during work.
Selecting and installing the sanding disc
Use sanding discs with the diameter shown in the table. The sanding disc should have holes that match the holes in the sander
base disc. One side of the disc should have fi bres that allow the hooks placed on the sander base disc to grip and connect the
disc to the base disc on a Velcro basis.
Place the sanding disc concentrically on the base disc so that the holes in the base disc match the holes in the sanding disc (III).
This will ensure less vibration during work and allow for proper extraction of dust generated during operation. The dust remaining
between the sandpaper and the sanded surface reduces effi ciency and quality of work.
Setting of the additional handle (IV)
The sander has an adjustable additional handle. To change its position, unscrew the locking screw, set the handle in the required
position, and then lock the handle with the screw.
Adjusting the rotational speed (V)
The sander has a power switch that allows you to control the rotational speed of the sander. The deeper the power switch is
pressed, the higher the speed of the sander. The knob on the power switch allows you to set the depth of pressing the switch and
thus the rotational speed. The arrows and symbols above the knob show the direction of rotation to increase the rotational speed
(symbol +) or decrease the rotational speed (symbol -).
Starting and stopping the tool
Make sure that the rated voltage and frequency of the mains correspond to the values shown on the tool's rating plate.
Make sure that the tool's power switch is in the "off " position. To do this, press and release it.
Grasp the sander with both hands (VI). Surfaces intended for gripping and guiding the sander during operation are the grip,
handle, and auxiliary handle. The position of your hand on the sander should not cover the ventilation openings in the sander
housing. Do not grab near the base disc!
Lift and hold the sander so that the base disc does not come into contact with any object.
Turn the tool on by pressing and holding the power switch. Wait until the disc has reached its rated speed.
The tool is stopped by releasing the power switch. Wait for the disc rotation to stop completely before putting the tool away. Do
not stop the disc by applying it to any surface.
The power switch can be locked in the "on" position. To do this, when the power switch is pressed, press the lock button, then
release the power switch and next release the lock button. The power switch lock can be used during prolonged operation. The
sander with the power switch locked is stopped by pressing and releasing the power switch.
Warning! If suspicious noises, cracks, odour etc. are observed, immediately turn off the tool and pull the plug out of the mains
socket.
Sanding
Before starting work, fasten the surfaces to be machined in such a way that they do not move in an uncontrolled manner during
work. You can use clamps, handles, vices, etc.
The sandpaper must be selected according to the type of sanded surface. It is recommended to consult the dealer or the
manufacturer of the sandpaper for advice on its intended use.
Do not reuse the used sandpaper. Do not use damaged sanding discs. Sanding discs with cracks, tears, cavities, or other
damages may disintegrate during operation and cause injuries. Select the sandpaper grit size according to the type of work. Use
more coarse sandpaper for sanding and peeling. Use smoother sandpaper for fi nishing work.
It is recommended to start with coarser sandpaper and fi nish with fi ner-grit sandpaper. Sanding in this manner will be faster and
lead to a better end result.
Do not use the sandpaper used once to sand metal for wood sanding. Do not use the sandpaper used once to sand the varnish
coating for wood sanding.
