Installation position of Indoor unit
This series of air conditioners can be arranged in two air return modes:
1. backward air return (factory default);
2. downward air return (can be adjusted on site. See the following figures.)
Downward air return
Note: the downward air return mode will increase the noise 3-5dB(A). It is recommended to install the air
conditioner in downward return air mode 2 if there is enough space.
Installation space and method
Body installation
1. Use M10 lifting bolts.
2. Ceiling removal: Consult your interior decoration contractor to understand the actual condition of the
ceiling for different building structures.
a. Ceiling reinforcement: To ensure the ceiling is horizontal and stable, the ceiling base frame must be
reinforced.
b. Cut and remove the ceiling base frame.
c. Reinforce the end faces left when the ceiling is removed and further reinforce the base frame that fixes
both ends of the ceiling.
d. After the body installation is complete, install the pipes and wires. Before installation, choose a suitable
installation position and determine the direction of the pipes to be drawn out. Especially in a case where
there is a ceiling, position the refrigerant tubing, drain hose, indoor and outdoor connecting wires, control
wires to their connection places before hanging the machine.
