Prior to first use
Remove all packaging parts and clean the product
according to the cleaning instructions.
Instructions
1. Roll the desired pastry dough on a piece of
parchment paper to approx. 1/8 inch thickness.
Place it on a clean, flat surface and dust it
well with flour. Dust the Jalousie Stripes Roller
with flour as well.
2. Place the Jalousie Stripes Roller at the edge of
the dough. Cut the dough by using firm pressure,
while slowly rolling over it. Repeat this process
one row at the time.
Chef's note: Observe the arrow markings on
the side of the roller. For optimum cutting
results, the arrow must point downwards at the
beginning of each cutting cycle.
3. Evenly distribute the filling over the uncut sides
of the Lattice strips. Brush the edges of the
dough with a little beaten egg and then fold the
„stripes" cut side over, on top of the filling.
4. Brush the „striped" Lattice pastries with a little
beaten egg. Bake in the oven according to the
recipe instructions.
Tips & Tricks:
• For best cutting results, keep the rolled dough
sheets in the freezer for about 15 min.
• Cut the cold dough quickly to ensure best shape.
Cleaning
Do not use scouring agents or steel wool to clean
the Jalousie Stripes Roller. The Jalousie Stripes
Roller is not dishwasher safe. Hand wash in a mild
soap solution with warm water. Hand dry with a
dishtowel or air dry. Keep away from children.
