Using MAGIC CONTROL
Operating mode
When you switch on the ignition, MAGIC CONTROL performs a self-test
which lasts one to two minutes. During the self-test, MAGIC CONTROL
receives pressure and temperature data from all the sensors.
During the first 2 seconds of the self-test, the LED lights up red and a short
tone is emitted. The LED then shows the status of the tyres:
Status
The pressures and temperatures are
in the normal range.

MAGIC CONTROL
Display
The LED first flashes green
(0.5 s ON, 0.5 s OFF).
If MAGIC CONTROL detects during
the self-test that the tyre status is still
in the normal range, the LED lights
up green for one minute after the
test. It then switches off.
If MAGIC CONTROL receives a
warning or alarm from a sensor
during the self-test, the LED
indicates the status (see chapter
"Alarm status" on page 71).
If MAGIC CONTROL detects an
abnormal temperature or pressure
value while travelling, the LED is
switched on immediately. The LED
shows the alarm status and an
audible signal is emitted.
