• Only use TopChips in a microwave oven.
• Please note: if you have a combined microwave/grill, only use the
microwave function.
• To prevent food from burning or catching fire, always make sure that your
microwave's rotating tray can move freely.
• Always refer exclusively to your microwave manufacturer's instructions
when using TopChips.
• Always use your TopChips in a clean microwave oven, as food residue
in a microwave is a potential fire hazard.
• Depending on how new and up-to-date your microwave oven is, it could
overheat when used repeatedly. If your microwave does overheat, let it cool
before cooking the next batch of chips.
• Only use TopChips to cook slices of potato, carrot, sweet potato, apple, pear,
and mango. We strongly advise against using the TopChips with certain
foods, such as beets and basil.
• If necessary, adjust the recommended cooking times listed in the cooking table
by no more than 30-second intervals (p8).
• Never leave your chips cooking unattended. As with any cooking utensil,
improper use, such as overcooking, can cause food to catch fire.
• Never use more than three (3) TopChips stacked together at a time.
• Never set your TopChips to cook without any food on it.
• Always wear an oven mitt when removing TopChips from the microwave.

• Always wash before use, either by hand or in dishwasher.
• Never use with sharp objects as TopChips can be pierced.
• Never use with abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

• Prepare thin, even slices (1mm - 1/32" thick) of the desired food.
For best results use Mastrad's Special TopChips Mandolin (1).
• Do not overlap Chips when placing on TopChips (as shown below) (2).
• Follow your microwave recommended cooking times (3).
• When using more than one TopChips, add approximately one extra
minute of cooking time per tray. If necessary, cook food in additional
blocks of 30 seconds for optimal results.
• Always monitor while cooking food.
• When done, allow TopChips to cool for about 30 sec.
