8. Additional requirements–quality standards
TheProtos® Integral can also withstand very low temperatures (-30 °C).
9. Transport
Transport the Protos® Integral in the box provided or in a protective cloth bag. Avoid contact
with liquids or exposure to UV radiation during transport (e.g. shop windows, hat rack).
10. Avoiding damage
Avoid any contact of this Protos® Integral and its components with pointy or sharp objects
(chainsaw chain, metal tools, etc.) and with aggressive substances such as acids, oils,
solvents, fuels and the like to avoid damaging the material. Do not apply adhesive tape,
paint, solvents, adhesives or adhesive labels to the helmet – this can affect the protective
performance!
11. Service life
Protos® Integral should be used for a maximum of 5 years from the embossed date of
manufacture. It is imperative to replace them in due time!
12. When should the Protos® Integral no longer be used?
The Protos® Integral and its components should be checked periodically for visible
defects (cracks, discoloration, etc.). The Protos® Integral and/or itscomponents should
beimmediatelyreplaced after exposure to stress (e.g. a fall or blow), even if the damage is not
visible externally. Any modification of the product (e.g. drilling holes in the shell) can negatively
affect the protective performance and must therefore not be carried out on this product!
