Motor-driven shoot-bolt lock for timber and steel doors
52
4.2.2 Motor-driven release of active and passive leaf
When an impulse (+24 V DC) is received at control input I2, the motor moves the latch trigger out
thus releasing the latch and/or latchbolt.
The active leaf can be opened. In addition, the top and bottom vertical rods are retracted so that the
passive leaf can also be opened. Signal contact 2 ("Unlocked" position reached) is closed.

Fig.10 Motor-driven release of active and passive leaf
Once the hold-open time has elapsed (7 s in as delivered condition), the motor moves the lock to its
initial position. Once this has been reached, the signal contact 1 closes.
If the passive leaf closes, the passive-leaf control lock B 1895 releases the locking rods and the
passive leaf locks automatically. The active leaf can also be closed via the latch or latchbolt.
