IMPORTANT: when lifting from an angle, the load capacity should be suitably reduced as shown in the diagram in fig. 8.
To lift a sheet from ground level, always use 2 clamps with two-legs lifting sling (fig. 9) or 2 clamps with one-leg sling and lifting
beam to restrict rotation at the time of raising. When two clamps with two-legs lifting sling are used, the maximum permitted angle
between legs is 30°. The situation shown to the right in fig. 9 should preferably be avoided.
IMPORTANT: this type of clamp can only be used to grasp the sheets in the horizontal position for rotation or overturning,
without lifting from ground level. For the lifting and horizontal movement of the sheets, use clamps designed for that purpose.
IMPORTANT: do not try to open the knurled cam or adjust the control level when a load is applied.
IMPORTANT: Make sure no loads are applied before putting the accessory out of service. The knurled cam can only
be opened with the control lever when the load is supported and made safe.
STORAGE
The accessory has to be stored in a dry place protected against water. Clean the accessory before storing.
MAINTENANCE
The accessory has to be inspected and tested at regular intervals, while loaded, by a qualified technical specialist, and in any case at least
once a year, in accordance with the safety regulations in force in the country of use .
The mechanical components have to be lubricated at regular intervals, especially after particularly arduous and intense use.
The knurled cam and plinth have to be kept clean and dry. They should never be allowed to come into contact with the lubricant.
Regular checks should be carried out on the eyebolt and joint.
WARRANTY
This device is manufactured and tested in accordance with the standards currently in force in the EU. It is covered by a warranty of 12
months' duration for professional use and 24 months for non-professional use.
The warranty covers failures due to material or manufacturing faults, which will be subject to repair or the replacement of the faulty parts,
at our discretion.
If one or more operations are carried out during the warranty period, this will not affect the expiry date of the warranty.
Faults due to wear and tear, incorrect or improper use, or breakages caused by collision and/or falls are not covered by the warranty.
The warranty is also invalid in the event of modifications or tampering, or when the device is dismantled before being sent our assistance
department.
Injury or damage to persons and/or property of any kind and nature, whether direct or indirect, are expressly excluded.
