Removing and Installing Your Universal Flip-Up Loupe
Although your Universal Flip-Up Loupe comes with safety glasses, it is compatible with most eyewear frames, including
leaded glasses and ophthalmic glasses.
Remove Your Universal Flip-Up Loupe
1. Using the optical screwdiver provided, loosen the mounting screw
to open the mounting arms (Figure 8).
The mounting screw also secures the vertical slide. While
the mounting screw is loosened, the vertical slide will
move up and down freely.
2. Slide your Universal Flip-Up Loupe up and off your frame (Figure 9).
Attempting to remove your Universal Flip-Up Loupe without
first loosening the mounting screw may result in damage to
the mounting clip, mounting arms, or your frame.
Install Your Universal Flip-Up Loupe
1. Using the optical screwdiver provided, loosen the mounting screw
to open the mounting arms (Figure 10).
2. Slide the Universal Flip-Up Loupe down over the center of your
frame (Figure 11). When properly oriented, the mounting clip
should be centered on the frame with the lenses secured between
the mounting clip and mounting arms (Figure 12).
3. Use the optical screwdriver provided to tighten the mounting
screw. You may need to readjust the vertical slide while tightening
the mounting screw. Follow instructions in the Adjust the Flip-Up
Hinge section.
