TROUBLESHOOTER

PROBLEM
Wasteminator II is not work-
ing.
Water comes out of the over-
flow on the sink when I turn
on the Wasteminator II
Wasteminator II is on but is
not grinding.

PACKAGING
The packaging must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations on waste management..
SCRAPPING OF THE HOOD
The symbol on the product or accompanying documentation indicates that this product
may not be disposed of as household waste but must be delivered to the nearest collection cen-
ter for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
No power is being supplied to
the product.
The hose for the on/off
switch is not connected pro-
perly and the on/off switch
therefore does not work.
The drain for the overflow is
mounted on the connection
to the dishwasher.
An item is jammed in the
grinder.

SOLUTION
Connect the product to the
power supply.
Connect the hose on the on/
off switch and the Wastemi-
nator II correctly
Install the overflow from the
sink to the correct pipe. Re-
member to take plug out prior
to installation. If a dishwash-
er is not being installed with
the Wasteminator II, a plug
must be placed in the connec-
tion to the dishwasher on the
Wasteminator II

section JAMMED ITEMS on
page 49.
