Boil Function
The Boil function allows you to boil water or heat up soup. Simply fill the
serving jug above the minimum water level line and press boil.
Pulse Function
The Pulse function allows you to pulse your food in quick short bursts or for
as long as you need. This will ensure your soup is blended to the perfect
consistency for you. The function also works to create cold soups like
gazpacho.
Cleaning the jug
Add warm water with a small amount of washing up liquid into the jug. Ensure
you do not exceed the maximum fill line. Hold down the pulse function to
clean.
Note: Do not use an excess amount of washing up liquid.
Safety Shut Off
For security reasons, simply lifting the lid at any point will stop the blending
automatically.
Caution: We recommend that you press Start/Stop button before lifting the lid.
Trouble Shooting & FAQ's
Can I use uncooked meat in the soup maker?
No. You need to first cook the meat separately before using it in the soup
maker with the rest of your ingredients. Meats such as lamb will need browning
before adding to the ingredients.
What is the capacity of the soup maker?
The Soup Maker has a capacity of 1.6 litres. Always ensure that the
ingredients and liquids do not exceed the maximum fill line indicated on the
glass jug.
Can I change the times on the settings of the chunky and smooth
functions?
No, the time setting for the chunky and smooth soup functions is pre-set and
will be correct for most soups. If the end result is not to your preferred
consistency, you have the option to use the heat and pulse function to acquire
better results depending on your recipe.
