4.5 Vehicle Seating Requirements

IMPROPER PLACEMENT OF THIS INFANT CAR SEAT
INCREASES THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
• Some seating positions in your vehicle may not be safe for
this infant car seat.
• Some vehicles do not have any safe seating positions for
this infant car seat.
• If you are not sure where to install this infant car seat in
your vehicle, consult your vehicle owner's manual or call
Ingenuity at 1-800-230-8190.
DO NOT place rear-facing child seat on front seat with air
bag. DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY can occur. The back seat
is the safest place for children 12 and under.
• According to accident statistics, children are safer when
properly restrained in a rear-seating position than in
front-seating positions.
• Owners of vehicles with front passenger side air bags
should refer to their vehicles' owner's manual for car seat
installation instructions.
