1. The connection between the
base and the car seat MUST be
clear to create a secure lock.
• Ensure that restraint straps,
blankets, and other foreign
objects do not obstruct the
locking of the seat.
2. Set the infant car seat down
into the base.
3. The infant car seat is properly
latched to the base when you
hear an audible "click. "
4. Pull up on the infant car seat
to ensure that it is connected
securely into the base.
5. Place the handle into any
locked position.
• The handle is NOT locked until BOTH handle adjustment
levers pop back out.
• After setting the position, push and pull firmly on the
handle to ensure that it is locked.
6. Do not allow anything to interfere with or impede the
infant car seat handle from changing adjustment positions.
