DO NOT use the infant car seat without the seat pad.
CLEANING THE NEWBORN INSERT
1. Remove the newborn insert per the instructions in Section
8.1.
2. Machine-wash the seat pad on a delicate cycle, and drip-
dry. DO NOT use bleach. See the care tag attached to the
softgoods for instructions.
3. Reinstall the newborn insert per the instructions in Section
8.1.
CLEANING HEADREST SOFTGOODS
1. Remove the softgoods.
2. Machine-wash the headrest pad on a delicate cycle, and
drip-dry. DO NOT use bleach. See the care tag attached to
softgoods for instructions.
3. Reinstall the headrest softgoods.
CLEANING THE METAL AND PLASTIC PARTS
• Wipe the metal and plastic parts with a mild soap-and-water
solution.
• DO NOT use bleach or detergent, which may weaken the
plastic parts.
CLEANING THE HARNESS STRAPS
• Spot-clean or replace the harness straps.
