1. Ensure that your vehicle is on
level ground before beginning
installation.
Note: Installing on unlevel ground
will cause the infant car seat to be
positioned incorrectly.
2. Place the base on the vehicle seat in
the direction indicated by the front
of vehicle labels.
3. Ensure that no vehicle seats or doors
interfere with the installation of the
base.
4. View the level indicators on the base
to determine if the base is properly
reclined. The level indicators can be
viewed from either the top or side of
the base.
• The base is leveled when the bubbles are between
the indicator lines.
• If the base is not properly reclined:
• Press the Recline Adjustment Button to deploy the recline
adjustment foot.
