The infant car seat includes a level indicator label to ensure
proper installation. The
indicator is located on the
warning label on the side
of the seat shell and is
indicated by a leveling line
on the label.
The leveling line on the
warning label MUST be
level with the ground.
1. Before placing the infant car seat in
the vehicle, ensure that the vehicle is
on level ground.
2. Place the infant car seat on the
vehicle seat in the direction indicated
by the front of vehicle labels.
3. Using the leveling line located on the warning label directly
above the wording "THIS LINE MUST BE LEVEL WITH
GROUND," CHECK that the infant car seat is level with the
ground.
4. If the infant car seat is resting on the vehicle seat and is still
not level, place a rolled towel or pool noodle underneath
the infant car seat against the back of the vehicle seat.
Ensure that the towel or pool noodle does not interfere
with any other step of the seat installation process.
When using the infant car seat without the base, install the seat
in the vehicle before securing your child.
