and smooth fit of the handles. (Picture 4) If necessary, tighten the grub screw
(B) with the corresponding Allen key until it is firmly pressed against the han-
dlebar grips. Please make sure that you loosen the grub screw (B) again if you
want to remove the handles.
• Grasp a handlebar grip with one hand and pull the ring lever (A) at the top of
the handlebar shaft upwards in the direction of the handlebar end with the
other hand (picture 2).
• Unfold the handlebar of the scooter (picture 3).
• Now push the handlebar in the vertical direction until the safety bolt engages.
Make sure that the safety bolt sits securely in the hole. If this is not the case,
there is a malfunction. In case of a malfunction the scooter must not be used,
but it must be repaired.
• The handlebars can be locked into place at different heights. To adjust the
height of the handlebars, release the quick release fastener on the handlebars
by pushing the lever of the quick release fastener away from the handlebar
stem until the lever is parallel to the handlebar stem grip. If necessary, please
press the locking button, so that the handlebar rod can be moved. Pull the
handlebar rod out of the handlebar stem until it is at the required height and
the relevant button has snapped into place. (Picture 5)
• The maximum height cannot be exceeded due to the integrated lock. If the
handlebar is not fitting tightly enough at the required height, open the quick
release fastener again and twist the screw (C) opposite to it further into the
thread so that the fastening bracket fits more tightly to the handlebar rod
(picture 6). Repeat this process until the handlebar rod can be aligned secure-
ly.
• Now close the quick release fastener by pushing the lever down to the han-
dlebar stem.
• You can readjust the locking mechanism of the folding mechanism as needed.
When the step is ready to drive, you should turn the grub screw (D) located on
the folding mechanism with the corresponding Allen key until both metal sur-
faces are pressed together slightly (picture 7). If you notice that smooth driv-
ing is not guaranteed during use on a level surface, a readjustment is also
necessary. After readjustment please check whether folding mechanism still
works smoothly. If needed you have to readjust locking mechanism again.
• Always check that all parts are fitting tightly before use, particularly the fold-
ing mechanism, the handlebar lock and the wheels. Also check the full func-
tionality of the safety bolt. Only after complete examination is the scooter
ready to ride (picture 8).
TO GET THE SCOOTER READY FOR TRANSPORT AGAIN,
PLEASE CARRY OUT THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS
• Release the quick release fastener by pushing the lever of the quick release
fastener away from the handlebar stem. Please press the locking button so
that the handlebar rod can be moved. (Picture 5)
• Push the handlebar rod into the handlebar tube as far as the lower locking
button.
• Close the quick release fastener by pushing the lever of the quick release
fastener down to the handlebar stem.
• If necessary, loosen the grub screws (B) at the ends of the horizontal handle-
bar tube using the corresponding Allen key. Press the locking knobs into the
handlebar grips with your thumbs and pull the handlebar grips outwards until
they are completely released from the handlebar tube. (Picture 9)
• Grasp a handlebar grip with one hand and pull the ring lever (A) at the top of
the handlebar shaft upwards in the direction of the handlebar end with the
other hand.
• Fold the step together by moving the handlebar bar all the way to the rear
wheel (picture 10).
ASSEMBLY OF THE LED LIGHT UNIT
In the brake plate there is a recess for a HUDORA LED light unit (picture 11). The
latter is available separately together with the LED front light unit under article
number 14110 (safety package for BigWheel
box with reflective sticker backwards out of the recess along the guide rail. You
can use the LED light unit the other way round. The LED front light unit can be
clicked onto the V-shaped handlebar.

DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS
The scooter moves when a foot is used to regularly push off, just as with well-
known children's scooters. Braking is no problem either - simply step on the
friction brake over the back wheel (mudguard).
We recommend folding the scooter by hand after each use or using the stand.
The side stand is in the direction of movement located on the left hand side under
the deck. Its use is ensured through simply folding and unfolding. Aluminium is a
good and light material but should also be handled carefully as it is not as hard
as steel, for example.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Use a dry or damp cloth only to clean the product; do not use special cleaning
agents! Check the product for damage or traces of wear and tear before and after
each use. Do not make any structural changes. For your own safety, please use
original spare parts only. These can be sourced from HUDORA. If parts become
damaged or if sharp edges or corners should develop, the product may not be
used any more. If in any doubt, please contact our service team (http://www.hu-
dora.de/). Store the product in a safe place where it is protected from the ele-
ments, cannot be damaged, and cannot injure anyone.
Replace damaged or worn assembly parts in order to ensure the safety of your
scooter.
WHEEL CHANGE
Replacement wheels are available as accessories from http://www.hudora.de/
and should be replaced when they get worn down. To change the wheels, loosen
the axle fitting with two Allen keys and remove the wheels from the axle. A screw-
driver or Allen key can be used to push the bearings out of the wheel in order to
use them again in the new wheels. However, it is usually advisable to change the
bearings when the wheels are being changed. Put the bearings into the new
wheel with the spacer sleeve and mount them to the frame with the axle screws.
Make sure that the axle has been screwed on tightly before starting again!
BEARINGS
Your kick scooter is equipped with precision ball bearings, which were filled with
grease under high pressure, during manufacture. For this reason, the rollers of
the kick scooter only run lightly and swiftly, while under load. Bearings are main-
tenance-free, but they are wear parts. Caution! Worn bearings make conspicuous
audible noises and their function is constrained. In order to maintain optimal
riding pleasure and to ensure lasting safety, you should replace bearings, as soon
as they begin to exhibit signs of being worn. In the case of full load and daily use
we recommend the replacement of the rollers and bearings twice a year. Bear-
ings are available as accessories under http://www.hudora.de/.
