Error which has occurred
Possible causes
Cuff was applied incorrectly or too loosely.
Measurement was disturbed due to speaking
or moving.
The pulse could not be measured accurately.
The battery is empty. Replace the battery.
The device has a technical problem. Contact
the shop where you bought the device or the
HARTMANN representation for your country.
Cuff will not inflate
Cuff connection is incorrectly positioned in
device.
Implausible reading
Incorrect cuff size.
Cuff placed on top of clothing.
Rolled up clothing impedes blood circulation.
Moving, talking or excitement during meas-
urement.
Deep breathing during measurement
process.
No relaxation before measurement.
Stimulants taken just before measurement.
Switch the device off if an error symbol appears. Check the possible causes
and note the instructions on self-measurement in Chapter 2. Relax for a
minute and take the measurement again. Do not move or talk during the
measurement.
