To ensure adequate protection, the helmet must be
adapted and adjusted to the size of the wearer's head
and verified before each use.
CENTRING AND DONNING POSITION
If the original setting is not appropriate, centre the cap head-
band and adjust the donning position by separating the cap
headband, rotating a quarter turn all retaining pins, and posi-
tioning them in the other locations (see drawings).
ADJUSTING THE NAPESTRAP
• Adjust the headband of the IDRA 2 helmet by rotating the self-
locking adjuster wheel in the napestrap in 3 mm steps (range:
from 49 to 63 cm).
• Once the napestrap and the donning position have been
appropriately adjusted, unlock the shield by pushing the
red lever forward and downwards; make sure the chin and
upper neck are protected. If, for any anatomical reason, you
notice that the shield does not adequately protect the lower
part of your face - see the drawing below where the helmet
/ shield combination is unsuitable -, it will be necessary to
choose an alternative head protection.
