manufacturer. The shield can be damaged by wear and must
be checked regularly to safeguard its effectiveness.
• The shield must be replaced in the following cases: shield
cracked, broken, punctured, scratched, chipped, or etched in
the central area.
• Storage and transport: store and arrange the shields in a dry
and temperate room, protected from light. Do not expose the
shield to UV or excessive temperature, for example behind a
windshield or window. PPE storage and transport must be made
in their original packaging and free from mechanical stress.
SHIELD REPLACEMENT
• To replace the shield, it is necessary to separate the helmet
shells (inner and outer shell). To that end, pull out the left and
right retainers, gently tilt forward the inner shell, and then sepa-
rate the shield from the supporting inner shell.
• To reassemble, proceed in reverse order by using the shell
centring pins together and fitting the inner shell in the rear
stops of the outer shell.
PROTECTION CANNOT BE GUARANTEED IF THESE
INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT STRICTLY FOLLOWED.
Caution: eye protectors against high-speed particules
worn over standard ophtalmic spectacles may transmit
impacts, thus creating a hazard to the wearer.
